What the program entails
Schools built with the village, not just in it
Each Bright Classroom begins with a village council: parents choose the site, local masons lead construction, and Larkspur funds materials, teacher training, and books. The result is a school the whole community owns — and maintains for decades.
What's included

- Desks, textbooks, and libraries stocked for 1,200 pupils

More than bricks and books
We fund school meals that keep attendance above 90%, girls' scholarships that delay early marriage, and solar power so evening study is possible. Independent assessors test literacy yearly — and we publish every score, good or bad.
